PARK CITY, Utah (KUTV) — Businesses along Park City’s Main Street were evacuated Saturday afternoon after a bomb threat was reported at the Egyptian Theater.

Lt. Danielle Snelson of the Park City Police Department said Summit County dispatchers received a call from an individual claiming a bomb had been planted inside the business located at 328 Main Street.

Police responded promptly, evacuating multiple businesses on Main Street and Swede Alley. K-9 units trained in explosive detection conducted a thorough sweep of the area but found no suspicious items.

The businesses were cleared, and Main Street has since reopened to traffic.
