I was worried about Mikey Madison when she was announced as a Dior ambassador, but I have to say that this red velvet strapless dress embroidered with flowers is exactly the energy I was hoping to see from her last awards season. Instead, she stepped out in Dior wearing a flower-embroidered dress with a black lace jacket, marking a rare moment where Wintour deviates from expectation. Yet it still sits comfortably within her established uniform. Consider it a significant co-sign for Jonathan Anderson’s Dior.

Expectations Lowered

Honestly, I am very close to writing off Priyanka Chopra and resigning myself to the idea that her style instincts simply are not there. I would happily take the sculpted bodice of this Dior gown and the Bvlgari necklace, but almost everything else loses me. The embroidered feather boa pushes the look into a cheesy direction, and the shoes feel completely disconnected from the rest of the outfit. I genuinely cannot believe those were the final footwear choice. Consider my expectations officially lowered from here on out.
